• 12 of our transitional housing units have been adopted by local churches, companies, or community groups through the Restoring Hope program;
• 32 women were welcomed after their release from prison to our reentry program, Harriet’s House. This program maintains a recidivism rate of less than 15%;
• 37 women and 67 children are no longer homeless because they were served in our transitional housing;
• $339,825 was returned to the community from 2008 tax refunds completed at the Raleigh Community & Safety Club;
• Our afterschool program received the 2009 Standard of Excellence Award from the Food Bank/Blue Cross Blue Shield!
